The Power of Silence
Hear it to believe it

Enjoy being out on the water in silence without emitting fossil fuels and less disturbance to your surroundings, enabling you to be one with nature.

How silent is silent?

The motor is almost completely silent, yes! When travelling at lower speeds, such as when entering or leaving the harbor, you will not be able to hear if the motor is on or not. When reaching higher speeds, you will hear the friction from the wind and waves, just as you would on a sailing boat.

This makes it possible to enjoy the nature in a peaceful and respectful way, as well as talking to each other without having to yell. The aft seating area is therefore very enjoyable during voyaging compared to a traditional 8m powerboat with vibration, noise and smell.

Charging & range

The X Shore Pro has a 126 kWh battery pack. Waterproof and highly resistant, with working temperature range from -25°C to +45°C.

Range anxiety

We get it, just like an electric car you are concerned about not having enough juice. But if you have driven an electric car you know its not the case. Our boats are not designed to do cross Atlantic cruises. But there is more than enough power to go out for a full day.

Should you go down to 10% battery it will limit the power extending the range so you can return home safely.

Material

From its 100% electric motor to the focus on low-impact materials and eliminating hazardous substances, X Shore PRO embodies the start of a more sustainable maritime tradition.

Styrene free

The hulls are built in sandwich construction, a combination of glass fiber and carbon fiber, which is beneficial in terms of stiffness and weight.

We have in-house hull production at our factory in Nyköping, Sweden where the hulls are produced with an industry leading method, so called pre-preg, that enables us to use a resin binder (rather than styrene-based vinyl ester), as well as to use significantly less plastic than in common composite hulls.

Safety

Power saving mode

Running out of power at sea is very unlikely. Contrary to a combustion motorboat, X Shore boats will automatically go into “power saving mode” when reaching 10% battery capacity. This means the boat will go at reduced speed of 6-7 knots to enable you to get to a charging point safely. There is no roll-on/roll-off emergency battery or diesel back-up generator.

Man over board
Automatic detection

Both the X Shore app and the captains watch function as remote keys. If you fall while wearing the watch, the Man Over Board safety feature triggers the boat to stop automatically.
